Dr. Johnston has 30+ years experience assisting individuals is indentifying dreams, goals, interests, abilities, skills, and "how to" apply them to their desired life. She has a Masters and Doctorate in Rehabilitation Counseling. Other education is Masters in Business Administration and Bachelors in Sociology. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor(1999), Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (1981), Certified Disability Management Specialist (1984), JIn Shin Acupressurist (1993). Certified Brain Injury Specialist (2004) Certified Wellness Speaker (2009). Yes lots of alphabet soup as a life long learner and professional. She has presented at the University of Colorado Health Science Center, Western Colorado Area Health Education Center, Durango Mercy Medical Center, various community colleges and massage schools. She provides workshops in the local communities. She published "Returning to Farming: An Accomplishable Challenge for Persons with Quadriplegia" in the Journal of Applied Rehabilitation Counseling in Fall 1988.
